However, the former model has opted to make an R+B album, ditching her dad's rock style.
She says, "I'm putting together a CD at the moment. It's R+B and I sing - it really is my baby.
"I did some backing vocals for my dad and now I am writing and co-writing stuff with someone from Kula Shaker.
"Who knows, I might even get Dad to guest on the album. He is always asking if I need any help so it's probably right to let him get involved."
But Leah, 25, has yet to decide on a name for her new group.
