Ronnie Wood's former young lover Ekaterina Ivanova has no regrets over the breakdown of their relationship - insisting she "feels free" since the rocker dumped her.
The Rolling Stone left his wife of 23 years, Jo, after embarking on an affair with the 20 year old Russian in July last year (08).
But their fling turned nasty earlier this month (Dec09) after a heated argument escalated into a fight, with Wood allegedly choking Ivanova outside a restaurant in Surrey, England. He spent a night behind bars for the alleged attack before he was released on bail. Ivanova later refused to press charges.
The bust-up was the last straw for Wood, and he ended the turbulent romance last week (ends04Dec09).
And Ivanova is glad the rocker turned his back on her - because she finally feels as if she can act her age.
She tells Britain's The People newspaper, "I feel like I'm free at last. Now I can enjoy acting my own age and not feel guilty about it."
A pal of the 20 year old adds, "Katya missed doing fun things like any other girl her age. She felt bossed around."
