Roland Mouret has created a range of just 12 dresses using rare, fine French lace for high end online fashion retailer, Couture Lab.
Roland Mouret has designed a limited range of lace dresses for Couture Lab.
The fashion designer has collaborated with the luxury online fashion store for an exclusive range of dresses made using handmade French lace so rare that only 12 dresses could be created.
There will be four designs in the collection, with just three dresses in each style available for purchase.
Carmen Busquets, founder of Couture Lab, said: ''I wanted to do this collaboration with Roland because, ever since we met, he's wanted to create couture pieces for modern women on the move - pieces that could be wearable, easy to pack and that are timeless.''
''As the lace is vintage, it is thick enough for cool evenings. I love lace dresses from all sorts of brands, but some are so fine that I always need something to cover the beautiful work of it. Therefore when I saw this version I thought, 'This will solve the problem!' ''
Each of the dresses are named after a different female icon of the 1950s including 'Singing' in the Rain' actress Cyd Charisse and Wilhelmina Cooper, founder of the Wilhelmina modelling agency in New York City.
The rare pieces come with hefty price tags ranging between £4,625 and £7,795.
