Rocker Roger Daltrey is unimpressed with the vast coverage of music festivals on British TV as he is convinced the "wall-to-wall" footage is killing the "mystery" of chart stars.
The Who star is a big fan of live music, but admits watching big events on television is far from enjoyable for him.
He tells Britain's Daily Record, "I think there's a lot to be said for mystery when it comes to your musical icons. You have to go out and experience it.
"I don't think music works particularly well on TV, especially rock music. Most of the festival stuff I've seen on TV makes me want to puke. It's just wall-to-wall stuff and they get very little money for being put on TV."
