Veteran rocker Rod Stewart is so proud of his latest album, he took a copy to his local pub and ordered the landlord to play it for everyone.
The MAGGIE MAY star stunned drinkers by enjoying a beer and a packet of crisps while his THANKS FOR THE MEMORY: THE GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK VOLUME IV songs played in the background.
One listener says, "It was really cheeky of Rod but everyone in the pub seemed to see the funny side.
"He's obviously very proud of his new album and wants everybody to hear it.
"It certainly seemed to go down well. Put it this way, no one was desperate to get it turned off!"
