LATEST: Veteran rocker Rod Stewart and his fiancee Penny Lancaster are yet to agree on a name for their newborn baby, despite deciding the tot's second name will be WALLACE.

Model/photographer Lancaster, 34, gave birth to the 7 pound, 7 ounce (3.37 kilograms) baby in a London hospital on Sunday (27NOV05), making 60-year-old Stewart a father for the seventh time.

Although the couple are still at odds over the child's Christian name, they have decided on the second name in tribute to Lancaster's grandfather Wallace, who was killed three years ago (02) when he was knocked down by a double-decker bus.

Lancaster's father GRAHAM says, "It's a wonderful tribute."

Stewart wants to name the newborn ALISTAIR, while Lancaster favours JIMMY or CHARLIE.
