Singer Rod Stewart has become obsessed with his health and insists he would undergo weekly radiology scans if his doctor gave him the Ok.
The 67-year-old entertainer admits his diagnosis with thyroid cancer in 1990 inspired him to take better care of his body by exercising and eating well.
Now Stewart insists on regular visits to his physician for blood tests to ensure he is in tip-top shape.
He tells Britain's Daily Mail, "I have blood tests all the time. I'm fascinated with the human body. If a new machine comes out I want to have a go. I'd have an MRI scan every week if the doctor would let me."
The Maggie May hitmaker hopes he will be able to see his youngest children enter their 20s and 30s, adding, "My priorities in life are my kids, my marriage, my health and of course my music. I want to be around, but you never know, do you? I could fall under a bus tomorrow."
