Rod Stewart has announced he is going on tour in the UK next June.
Rod Stewart is to tour the UK next year.
The 67-year-old singer - who is married to model-and-photographer Penny Lancaster - has announced five 'Live The Life' arena shows which will take place in June 2013.
Rod will perform at The 02 in London, the Nottingham Capital FM Arena and the Manchester Arena among others and he admits he can't wait to sing for his British fans again following his sell out 2010 tour.
Two time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Rod said: ''I cannot wait to get back on the road again especially in the UK where the fans always make it a very special occasion for me. The June tour is going to be fantastic!''
News of his tour - which will feature a set of his greatest hits such as 'Maggie May', 'Baby Jane' and 'The First Cut is the Deepest' - coincides with the release of Rod's first ever Christmas album.
'Merry Christmas, Baby' features Rod lending his unique voice to a host of classic festive tracks and features duets with Michael Buble on 'Winter Wonderland', 'We Three Kings' with Mary J. Blige and a version of 'Merry Christmas, Baby' with Cee-Lo Green.
Tickets for Rod's tour go on sale at 9am on Friday 16 November through www.aeglive.co.uk
