Stallone’s daughters with his former model wife Jennifer Flavin, Scarlet, 14, Sistine, 18, and Sophia, 20 will reportedly share the honour for the first time in the event's history.

According to Page Six, all three daughters of the Hollywood actor have been selected, and will be named later this month (Nov16). Miss/Mr. Golden Globe is chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, and is an honour traditionally extended to the daughter or son of Hollywood royalty. Past honourees have included Linda Evans, Laura Dern, Melanie Griffith and her daughter Dakota Johnson.

The trio will share the duties of escorting presenters and honourees on - and offstage, as well as carrying the statuettes at the ceremony.

Stallone won his first ever Golden Globe in January (16) for his comeback role as Rocky Balboa in Ryan Coogler-directed movie Creed. The veteran actor, director and writer made an emotional speech thanking the character he has played over seven films.

"Most of all, I wanna thank my imaginary friend Rocky Balboa for being the best friend I ever had,” he said.

A Golden Globes spokesperson said no final decision has been made for the event which is set to take place 8 January 2017.
