Cresthill, the three-storey, four-bedroom, Spanish-style pad, located just off Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip, has been listed for $3.3 million (GBP2.6 million). The legendary house was owned by Mitzy Shore, the "den mother" to Comedy Store comics, until she sold it in February, 2014.

The estate has a long Hollywood history and was once owned by 1940s actress Dorothy Lamour. It is also rumoured to have once been a regular party house used by the Rat Pack. But it's best known as a crash pad for young comedians who appeared at the Comedy Store.
