Roberto Cavalli closed Milan Fashion Week yesterday (24.09.12).

The Italian designer appears to have moved away from his trademark extravagant sexy womenswear outfits for his spring/summer 2013 collection as his models displayed a number of elegant white garments containing chiffon with leather and classy white leather-style lace trousers on the catwalk.

But his latest range still featured shredded stitching that covered up just enough skin while still exciting the imaginations of males in the room, while the models donned peep-toe booties, sandals and high heels.

Elizabeth Hurley and her partner Shane Warne were in the front row for the showcase, which saw Cavalli's models wear negligee-style dresses complete with lacy embroidery which was complimented by them wearing their hair loose and make-up that highlighted their eyes.

Dean and Dan Caten also unveiled their latest womenswear collection for their DSquared2 brand in Milan, with a nod to the biker chic look featuring ribbons and ruffles.

But their spring/summer 2013 collection was dominated by accessories as the Canadian twins' models took to the runway with strands of pearls around their neck and gold chains.

Ferre - made up of designing team Federico Piaggi and Stefano Citron - launched their latest Asian-inspired collection which included mini-dresses and a bustier embroidered with snakes as well as quilted skirts, white shirts and asymmetric shorts.
