British rocker Robert Smith decided to make his latest album The Cure a family affair by asking his nephews and nieces to provide all of the artwork for the cover.

THE CURE frontman decided to call on his siblings' offspring to give the album a more personal touch, and walked away with a bundle of sketches which have been used exactly as they were given to him.

He says, "I sent out a letter to them all and just asked them to do me a picture of a good dream and a bad dream and then I put all the best ones together. In fact, they all got one each. There's 23 of them."

And Smith admits some of his young relatives have no idea just how important their art pieces are.

He adds, "The ones that are on the cover don't know what I do. They'll find out in a couple of years time."
