Robert Pattinson is set to star in the forthcoming drama movie 'Water For Elephants' and the first batch of stills from the film have hit the web.
Robert Pattinson plays a young veterinary student who runs away to join a travelling circus in the new movie, reports Marie Claire.The film, based on the novel by Sara Gruen tells the story of 'Jacob', played by Pattinson, who tends for the animals at a travelling circus. He begins to fall in love with a young girl named 'Merlena', played by Reese Witherspoon, who is the wife of the circus owner, portayed by Oscar winner Christopher Waltz. The new set of images includes the official film poster, which depicts 'Jacob' looking forlorn whilst Merlena dances with her husband in the background. In another publicity shot, Pattinson sits beside an elephant wearing what appears to be a tuxedo.
'Water For Elephants' is set for release in the US on 22nd April 2011, after which Robert Pattinson will begin work on the forthcoming drama movie 'Cosmopolis', starring Paul Giamatti and Juliette Binoche. The 24-year-old is currently filming the fourth and final 'Twilight' movie, titled 'Breaking Dawn'.
