KRISTEN STEWART has remained silent over her personal and professional relationship with Robert Pattinson since news of her infidelity with married director Rupert Sanders broke earlier this year. But yesterday, the actress finally broke her silence during a news conference for new film On The Road when she was briefly quizzed on her estranged boyfriend and where they stand now.
When asked how the two will be around each other when on the campaign trail for the final instalment of the Twilight Saga which is released in November the year, Stewart insisted that the twosome are "going to be fine."
She said little else about the relationship the two former lovers now share, although it is believed that the two have finalised the move out of the house they once shared together in Los Angeles and begun to move on with their separate lives. When The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 is released in November this year it will lead to a string of potentially awkward public outings for the two, who have both been keeping relatively low profiles since the news broke six weeks ago. However, if Stewart's word is anything to go by then things wont be too awkward.
Sat with cast mate Garrett Hedlund and director Walter Salles, the three took part in a quick Q&A before having their photos taken for an official shoot at the Toronto Film Festival. A horde of fans showed up at the screening of On The Road later that night and Stewart stopped on the red carpet an hour longer than scheduled to ensure she signed every autograph and stood for as many photos she could.
