The savage independent drama is based on the true story of killer Tison, who attempted to elude his life sentence by recruiting family members to help him escape from an Arizona prison in 1978.

The escaped convict and his sons, dubbed The Tison Gang by authorities, slaughtered two families in their bloodthirsty campaign to cross the U.S. border into Mexico to evade recapture by the police.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Heather Graham will be playing Tison's wife in Last Rampage, which will be directed by Dwight Little, the filmmaker behind Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Murder at 1600.

Little has also been behind the camera for popular TV dramas Bones, Sleepy Hollow and Scorpion.
