Robert De Niro's threatening "You talkin' to me?" taunt in Taxi Driver has been crowned the most memorable line in movie history.

The quote from the gritty 1976 Martin Scorsese film - starring De Niro as mentally unstable Vietnam war veteran TRAVIS BICKLE - triumphed in a survey of 100 British cinema bosses.

SIR Sean Connery's suave "Bond, James Bond" introduction in the first 007 movie DR NO bagged second place, followed by SIR Michael Caine's "What's it all about, Alfie?" from ALFIE in third.

Legendary Gone With The Wind line "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" and "We're gonna need a bigger boat" from Steven Spielberg's Jaws complete the top five.
