British pop star Robbie Williams is "gutted" after BBC Radio 1 bosses dropped his songs from their playlist.
The former Take That singer's 2012 chart-topper Candy was cut from the station's playlist after chiefs decided he was "not relevant" enough for their target audience.
The Angels hitmaker tells BBC Radio 4, "I'm very ambitious. So when Radio 1 goes and is taken away from you, a huge bit of your arsenal goes. It's your main oxygen to get your stuff out there."
