Rob Kardashian is grateful for his family's support and says they stopped him being nervous about competing on `Dancing With the Stars'.
Rob Kardashian says his family's support stopped him being nervous on `Dancing With the Stars'.
The reality TV star has reached the final of the celebrity contest and while his famous sisters - Kim, Khloe and Kourtney - are shocked he took part, he says they are part of the reason why he has done so well on the show, in which he is partnered by Cheryl Burke.
He said: "Khloe loves it, they all can't believe what I'm doing - just to see the younger brother do something that they definitely couldn't do and that it is just super out of my element, they just love that.
"It makes my life super easy having my family at every one of my shows supporting me, and I kind of loosen up and not be so nervous and tense."
The 24-year-old star has found the contest "tough" but he is having fun on the dancefloor and not taking things too seriously.
He said: "It's the toughest thing for anybody who just Steps on that dance floor but I'm doing it and I'm doing it just fine.
"I'm just having fun, I don't take anything seriously in life at all so from day one I said I would have fun with it. People get so nervous about these dances and are freaking out about it afterwards, it's just not worth it for me."
While Rob has made it to the final, he insists he isn't feeling too competitive with rival performers Ricki Lake and J. R. Martinez,
He said: "I don't ever compare myself to anybody. I just worry about my own dance and I take it one dance at a time and that's all I care about.
"I'm friends with them all and I don't have that competitive side with them specifically."
