Manchester four-piece Rixton have taken America by storm with their debut single 'Me And My Broken Heart'. It's just smashed into the Top 15 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, having already hit no.1 on Shazam and no.6 on iTunes.
So it's no surprise that they're currently the hottest new British band in the USA having appeared on both The Voice and The Ellen Show - which were their debut TV performances anywhere in the world.
Set for release in the UK this July via Polydor Records, the track is already making huge waves here having been added to Capital Radio's B-list a staggering NINE WEEKS upfront of release and receiving its first Radio 1 spin last Monday when the band joined Scott Mills to premiere it live on air.
In fact they took a whistle-stop break from US promotion and flew in from Los Angeles especially for Scott, spending less than four hours on home soil before jetting straight back to LA to play a sold-out show at The Roxy, on West Hollywood's fabled Sunset Strip.
Rixton have already announced a string of UK festival dates but add to that with three headline shows in July, following their sold-out Manchester and London dates in April.
Unashamed lovers of pop music at its finest, Rixton are the grown-up, witty face of guitar-pop; a bunch of musicians and songwriters unafraid to blast out the catchiest, most infectious pop songs and ready to strap themselves onto the rock'n'roll rollercoaster.
Rixton's debut album , co-written and produced by Benny Blanco, hitmaker extraordinaire, will be out in the autumn.
