Former BEATLE Ringo Starr has signed a new deal to allow fans to download his music from the internet. Following in the footstep of ex-bandmate Sir Paul MCCartney, Starr's Capitol/EMI catalogue - including 1970 album Beaucoups of Blues and 1973's Ringo - will be available for download from 28 August (07). Other material, including compilation album Photograph: The Very Best of Ringo Starr and Ringo ringtones will also be available - as will a solo album, called Liverpool 8, which Starr plans to release next year (08). As yet, The Beatles back catalogue isn't available to download although EMI is working on a deal to put songs online.
