Pop star Rihanna left her Christmas shopping until the last minute this year because she was so busy recording and promoting her album Unapologetic.

The singer spent several months hard at working laying down tracks for her latest record, and in November (12), she launched a whirlwind tour to promote the album by performing seven shows in seven cities in just seven days.

Speaking around the time of the record's release in November (12), she said, "I have not started (Christmas shopping), not a single thing yet. I'm so drenched in work for my new album Unapologetic and when I was in the studio I really just stuck to studio. I'll do Christmas shopping now the album is in stores.

"The most difficult person to buy for is my little brother. He's getting to an age where toys aren't fun anymore, he likes video games but he has those already, he likes clothes, but I don't know what's special for Christmas."

She went on ask to her teenage fans to give her ideas about what to buy her brother, urging them to send her suggestions via her Twitter.com page: "What should I get my bro? Tweet me!"
