Rihanna has captured the top spot on both the UK album and singles charts.

The singer's Umbrella single stayed at number one for a fourth week running while her third album, Good Girl Gone Bad, entered the album chart at number one.

She denied Biffy Clyro's Puzzle the number one spot on the long-player chart, while The Twang's Love It When I Feel Like This entered at number three.

Another new entry came at number five for ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney's Memory Almost Full effort. Last week's number one, It Won't Be Soon Before Long from Maroon 5, slipped to fourth.

In the singles chart former Sugababe starlet Mutya Buena stuck at number two for a second week, thwarted yet again by the Barbados-born singer.

Calvin Harris' The Girls was third while Gym Class Heroes' Cupid's Chokehold was in fourth. Beyonce and Shakira's former number one, Beautiful Liar, rounded off the top five.
