Rihanna, the 22-year-old American singer, has confirmed that she has been working with Katy Perry on new material, and suggested that the pair could tour together, reports MTV News. The singer controversially missed Perry's wedding to British comedian Russell Brand last month, despite having a hand in organising the ceremony.
However, after recent speculation surrounding a possible duet between the two, RIHANNA confirmed, "We're actually working on some music together - hell yeah". In reply to the questioning about the possibility of a joint tour, the singer said, "I would love to tour with Katy. She's a rock star. And when I see her live, she just brings such a fun vibe, like a colourful rock star". The 'Umbrella' star went on to compliment Perry's live shows, saying, "She has all these props. She has candy and fruit and a blown-up ChapStick onstage, but then she's rocking out with a guitar and banging her head and swinging onstage and crowd-surfing".
RIHANNA will first release her new album 'Loud' on 10th November 2010, and the record features collaborations with Nicki Minaj and Eminem. Details of the KATY PERRY duet are not yet known.
