Richard Shepherd, the movie mogul behind classic films Breakfast at Tiffany's and The Fugitive Kind, has died, aged 86.

The former head of production at Warner Bros. and Mgm, Shepherd also founded The Artists Agency.

He passed away on Tuesday (14Jan14) after a long illness, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

His producing credits also included The Hanging Tree, The Hunger, The Exorcist, Fame, Robin and Marian and Love in a Goldfish Bowl.
