Anonymous star Rhys Ifans is upset his actions have turned his elderly parents into tabloid targets.
The Welshman briefly became a headline grabber last year when he allegedly shoved a female security officer at Comic-Con in San Diego, California last summer (11), while promoting The Amazing Spider-Man, and again earlier this year (12) after a party guest at a London hotel accused the actor of slapping him.
Ifans would rather not talk about the incidents, but admits he's upset about the fact his mum and dad were dragged into the controversies.
He tells Playboy magazine, "What makes me emotional is when I see my parents affected. They're just wonderful, wonderful people, and they're not young anymore.
"Being doorstepped by the press and photographers is awful and upsetting to me. They didn't ask for any of this."
