REM guitarist PETER BUCK is unable to remember anything about the mid-air incident, which nearly saw him jailed for two years after being accused of attacking two cabin staff.
The SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE star - who was eventually acquitted - says allegations of what happened during the flight in early 2001 were exaggerated, although he admits to taking a sleeping pill and drinking three glasses of red wine.
Peter says, "I'm the last person you should ask about that because as far as I'm aware, I wasn't even on that flight.
"I took a sleeping pill and blacked out. To this day I have no idea what happened.
"There was so much misinformation going on, everybody contradicting everyone else.
"I think there was a lot of ass covering as well because, let's face it, BA never banned me."11/11/2003 17:13
