Actress Rebecca Romijn will pay tribute to her character MYSTIQUE in X-Men in her new TV sitcom, PEPPER DENNIS, when her character is sprayed by an exploding blue dye pack.

The blonde beauty is covered in blue body paint in the X-MEN movies and just wrapped filming the latest installment - X-MEN: THE LAST STAND, before beginning production on her new series.

Romijn plays a Chicago, Illinois, TV reporter in the show, which will debut on the America's WB network on 4 April (06).

During the episode, the accident-prone journalist will accidentally be sprayed with blue dye while she is covering a story.

Pepper Dennis executive producer Aaron Harberts explains, "Rebecca brought some of the actual Mystique blue paint from the X-Men set."
