Razorlight and The Smashing Pumpkins are among the bands headlining the Reading and Leeds festivals this year.
The Carling Weekend events will run simultaneously, with both Reading and Leeds featuring a host of British and American bands playing between Friday August 24th and Sunday August 26th.
Fronted by Johnny Borrell rumoured to be dating Hollywood actress Kirsten Dunst Razorlight will play on the main stage at Reading on Friday night, with Kings Of Leon and Maximo Park joining them. The following day Johnny and the boys will head to Leads to play the main stage on Saturday night.
On the same day Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Bloc Party will be on the main stage at Reading, in what looks to be a compelling line-up.
The Smashing Pumpkins play Leeds main stage on the Friday and then Reading on Sunday, while the Klaxons and LCD Soundsystem will also play on the final day of the Reading festival on the Radio One/NME stage.
The Klaxons and LCD Soundsystem will play Leeds on the Friday.
