Razorlight frontman JOHNNY BORRELL has defended his appearance at a concert raising environmental awareness next month (NOV06), insisting he'd never try and be a "hero rock star". The GOLDEN TOUCH singer has signed up to perform a solo set for Friends Of The Earth in London on 4 November. He says, "I'm playing at the Stop Climate Chaos rally in Trafalgar Square. "I'm not trying to be a hero rock star. "When you're in a band what you can do is highlight the work of people who make the world a better place. They're the heroes, not the rock stars."
