Actor Ray Liotta is horrified by the high amount of his Hollywood contemporaries acting like "jokers" and starring in "piece of s**t" movies, insisting he always chooses script quality over paycheques.

After the success of GOODFELLAS in 1990, Liotta had the opportunity to become a blockbusting acting force, but chose to uphold his artistic integrity.

Liotta explains, "I still feel I haven't made it as an actor. Sometimes you see some of these jokers making $30 million by putting out these pieces-of-s**t movies and you say, 'Oh my God.'

"Well I'm not going to get into names, but it's all the obvious people that you are probably thinking about too. And it's not so much that I want to be making 'X' amount of dollars, but I want the opportunity to be in certain kinds of movies."
