British actor Ralph Fiennes is set to return to London's Royal National Theatre for the first time in seven years for a new production in 2015.

The Schindler's List star will lead the cast in a revival of George Bernard Shaw's political drama Man and Superman, which will open at the National in February (15).

The new season line-up for the iconic venue will also include new plays by Tom Stoppard and David Hare.

Fiennes previously hit the stage at the National Theatre as the title character in a 2008 production of Sophocles' tragedy Oedipus, while his last stage role was in a 2011 run of William Shakespeare's The Tempest at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London.
