Former Rage Against The Machine star Brad Wilk has joined another rock supergroup a year after he was recruited to replace Bill Ward in Black Sabbath.

The drummer will hit the road with Billy Corgan and the Smashing Pumpkins at the end of this month (Nov14).

The Killers bassist Mark Stoermer will also be part of the tour to promote the band's new album, Monuments to an Elegy.

Announcing the news, Corgan says, "We're absolutely thrilled and humbled to have Brad and Mark helping us out with these shows... If our rehearsals are any indication, they should be one-of-a-kind."

The dates begin in Berlin, Germany on 30 November (14).

Smashing Pumpkins will also play an outdoor show in Los Angeles as part of a Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance on 10 December (14).
