Break-out British singer/songwriter Rag'n'Bone Man has rocketed to the top of the U.K. charts with his debut album.
Human has outsold debuts from Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith to become the fastest-selling first record by a male act in seven years. The album is also Britain's fastest-selling album since David Bowie's Blackstar last year (Jan16).
With 117,000 copies sold since last week (10Feb17), Human has also outsold the rest of the new top 10.
Rag'n'Bone Man, real name Rory Graham, told OfficialCharts.com, "A massive thank you for going out and buying my album, streaming it and making it such a success so quickly. It means the world to me."
Last week's number one, Elbow's Little Fictions, drops a spot to two on the new countdown, while veteran British rockers Thunder debut Rip It Up at three.
Rapper Nines' One Foot Out and the soundtrack to La La Land round out the top five.
Meanwhile, birthday boy Ed Sheeran's one-two run at the top of the singles chart has come to an end after a record-breaking five weeks.
His hit Shape Of You stays on top for a sixth week, but Castle On The Hill drops to three. Rag'n'Bone Man's Human sits between the two Sheeran songs.
