Moody rockers Radiohead have proved themselves to be skilled radio DJs - after taking over a station in Boston, America, for several hours.

On Tuesday (12AUG03) night, the cult band dropped into hit station FNX, before taking control of the studio and playing a series of their favourite tunes.

The group - often noted for their gloomy music and sombre personalities - were in high spirits, interspersing music with conversation, singer THOM YORKE's love of vegetarian sushi and even some dancing.

And resident DJ PAUL DRISCOLL insists the rockers are naturals on air, adding, "The whole thing was very surreal. I've been a fan of theirs since 1993. It's hard to put the experience into words."
