Radiohead have considered splitting up a number of times, because not one of the five bandmembers enjoys the superstar-level of fame they have achieved. Frontman Thom Yorke admits he'd rather not be a part of the PARANOID ANDROID rockers, but accepts being a successful musician is better than working a day job for a living. He says, "I wanted to get out of the whole thing but you discover fairly quickly that you get the horrors. "You're sitting there going, 'Okay, er, I could go and get a normal job or I could go back and do that.' It's not a difficult choice. "You realise very quickly you're in a very privileged position. Sitting on your hands is a foolish thing to do. "One of the things I find the hardest is being part of the whole Radiohead thing. I'm not interested in that any more. I'm trying to work out what exactly it is that keeps me wanting to do it. "None of us want to be part of that band as it's a monster. You don't want to be in this situation where you're just feeding the monster. It should be the other way around."
