Queens Of The Stone Age celebrated their keyboard player's birthday on stage at the iTunes Festival in London on Friday night (06Sep13) by asking the audience to serenade him.

The rockers took to the stage at the Roundhouse venue for the gig, which was part of a series of free shows also featuring stars including Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

During the concert, frontman Josh Homme told the audience the day was extra special for bandmember Dean Fertia, and led them in a rendition of Happy Birthday, adding, "Feels good to sing, doesn't it?"

Perry will close the festival on 30 September (13) and Homme referenced the I Kissed a Girl star during his band's set, revealing he is a fan of the pop star's music.
