Re-energised rockers Queen have added U.K. arena dates to their ongoing world tour after selling out venues in America with new frontman Adam Lambert.

The Hammer To Fall rockers will play seven arena dates next year (15) with Lambert on vocals.

The shows will be part of a European tour, which begins in Newcastle, England on 13 January (15).

Drummer Roger Taylor insists the band's current success is largely down to frontman Lambert, a former American Idol contestant.

He explains, "Each time we've worked with Adam with our music, he's just the most incredible frontman. He's sensational. He has this amazing range."

Meanwhile, the band will release its new remastered hits album, Queen Forever, in November (14).
