Pulp Fiction screenwriter Roger Avary has been sent to a secure jail after reportedly posting a series of messages about prison life on the internet.
The Oscar winner was sentenced to a year behind bars and five years probation for causing the death of a man in a car crash last year (08).
He has been on a "furlough" program since he was sentenced, which allows him to work outside of prison - but has now been moved to a tougher jail amid security fears after he apparently posted a series of messages on his Twitter.com page.
Ventura County sheriff's spokesperson Captain Ross Bonfiglio insists the move was due to security issues and was not related to the online messages.
