He told Altsounds.com: ''It was probably the most challenging gig. I was lucky enough to be personally invited onto that support slot, but when I came out there was as many jeers and there were cheers. By the end I had the crowd up in arms, which was one of the biggest live achievements.''
Green - real name Stephen Manderson - also said he finds it important to sometimes keeps himself in check by stepping back, taking stock and realising what a great position he is in as a popular artist.
He added: ''It's really easy to become self-consumed by what you do that you forget to take a step back.
''When you're in the middle of promo and gigging and you're not sleeping, you can get worn down by it and it's really important to take a step back and remind yourself how fortunate you are to be doing what you're doing, and to just appreciate it.''
