British royal Princess Beatrice is celebrating being awarded top grades in her GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) exams yesterday (25AUG05).

The flame-haired 17-year-old, who has suffered from dyslexia since the age of seven, excelled with two A-star grades in history and drama, and high grades in seven other subjects.

Her parents, PRINCE ANDREW and his ex- wife Sarah Ferguson, DUCHESS OF YORK, are thrilled by her success.

A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman confirmed Yesterday (25AUG05), "She's delighted. The Duke and Duchess are so proud of both their daughters but especially Beatrice on the day of these fantastic results.

"The family celebrated together this morning."
