Prince is being sued by a furious Hollywood landlord for carry out unauthorised renovations to the house he rents, including painting the outside of the property purple and installing purple monogrammed carpet in the bedroom. National Basketball Association player Carlos Boozer, who owns the mansion, is furious about Prince's purple alterations to the $70,000-per-month (GBP41,000-per-month) property. Boozer is suing Prince and MPG Music over the unauthorised work done to the 10-bedroom home, according to documents posted on website thesmokinggun.com. According to the lawsuit, Prince violated his eight-month lease by "painting the exterior of the (house) with purple striping, Prince's symbol and the numbers 3121." Prince's new album, 3121, hit shops today (21MAR06). Prince's lawyers have denied the owner's allegations and noted that rent was accepted for December (05) and January (06) "without objection".
