Prince refused to sign Celine Dion's wall of fame when he went to check out her Caesars Palace show in Las Vegas because he didn't have a name at the time.

The Canadian singer began what has become a 10-year residency at the casino resort in 2003 and was so thrilled when stars started coming to see her, she asked them to sign a canvas billboard backstage.

She says, "I said, 'Just in case somebody (famous) comes... I'll make them sign it and I'll collect autographs for my kids.'

"They all came - Barbra Streisand, Michael Jackson, Silence of the Lambs (Sir Anthony Hopkins), he signed... Oprah Winfrey.

"The only person who didn't sign, because he didn't own a name... was Prince. He said, 'I have no name right now, I'm a sign!'"
