Prince William has become the latest member of the British royal family to have a waxwork model of himself put on show in London museum Madame Tussaud's.
Officials believe the $180,000 (GBP100,000) replica of the hunky prince, which went on show today (03AUG05), will be a huge draw for tourists, and are even allowing guests to grope the heir-to-the-throne.
A spokesperson says, "We like people to have a good feel.
"Whereas in Charles' day people were not allowed to touch, now we encourage them to feel William's hair and even give him a peck on the lips. We expect there to be quite an influx of female fans.
"William has been the most requested waxwork we've had in recent years and we are sure he's going to become the most popular male on show.
"We did ask if William could pose for us but he was too busy.
"We've created him entirely from photographs over the past three months."04/08/2005 10:31
