British royal Prince William is set to achieve a life-long dream next month (JUN05), when he joins the BRITISH LIONS rugby team on their tour of New Zealand.
The heir-to-the-throne finishes his final exams at St Andrew's University in Scotland in June and will then fly out to join the squad.
Rugby fan William, who was invited on the trip by Lions manager SIR CLIVE WOODWARD, will also help the team during training.
An England spokesman says, "Sir Clive has his eyes on a hands-on role for William, who wants to get his hands dirty."17/05/2005 02:47
