The condition of PRINCESS CAROLINE OF MONACO's ailing husband PRINCE ERNST AUGUST OF HANOVER is improving.
The German prince was struck down with acute pancreatitis, and was admitted to the PRINCESS GRACE hospital on 5 April (05), just one day before Caroline's father Prince Rainier died in the same building.
The 51-year-old royal is expected to be discharged in the next few days.
A source confirms, "The evolution of his condition is favourable. The prince should leave the hospital soon."
His illness is thought to have been triggered by alcoholism and over-eating.14/04/2005 17:38
