British royal Prince Harry's upcoming expedition to the South Pole will be made all the more remarkable by the fact he'll be nursing a broken toe.
The new uncle will lead a team of disabled British war veterans to the southern tip of the world as part of a 16-day Walking With the Wounded challenge next month (Nov13), and a Buckingham Palace spokesman has confirmed the red-headed royal is nursing an injury as he prepares for the trek.
But the royal spokesman insists, "There is no doubt about the South Pole trek. He will definitely be going."
Not much is known about the broken toe other than the fact that the prince broke it recently.
He will be joined by actors Alexander Skarsgard and Dominic West for the Walking With the Wounded trek. Harry was last spotted at his nephew's christening last week (ends25Oct13).
