British royal Prince Charles has been ordered to apologise to his fiancee's former husband before their 8 April (05) wedding by a leading Church of England bishop.

Strict church rules require the heir-to-the-throne to "make good any hurts" with ANDREW PARKER BOWLES before he immortalises his relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles in holy matrimony, according to DAVID STANCLIFFE, Bishop of Salisbury.

However, the bishop doesn't specify the what form the prince's apology should take.

Charles and Camilla are scheduled to be married in a civil ceremony in Windsor, England, and will then attend a church service in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
