British royal Prince Charles narrowly escaped death when a plane he was travelling on recently just avoiding colliding with a passenger craft carrying 186 passengers.
The 55-year-old was flying to Spain on his ROYAL AIRFORCE jet in March (04) when the near-miss occurred, with both pilots immediately filling reports explaining the gravity of the incident.
An insider tells Britain's SUN newspaper, "Both planes were lucky not to have collided.
"It was very scary to say the least."
The British CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY says, "There is no set distance for a near-miss but the pilots would have believed there to have been a danger."
Prince Charles was informed of the scare shortly after it occurred.16/07/2004 01:48
