Prince Charles' wife-to-be Camilla Parker Bowles will be crowned Queen when the British royal ascends to the throne.

The UK government has finally admitted it is the automatic right of the King's wife to become Queen, as stated in the constitution, following weeks of confusion over divorced Camilla's future status.

Bowles, who was the heir-to-the-throne's lover throughout his stormy marriage with tragic royal Princess Diana, was originally to be given the title of Princess Consort.

However, unless there is a change in the constitution, she will be known as Queen.

A spokesman for Prince Charles says, "The advice we have been given is that the wife of the King is known as Queen by convention and not by legal statute."
