Primavera Sound 2013 is already shaping up to be one of the most vital festivals this summer, with celebrated UK heroes Blur announced as headliners for both editions, marking the only dates the band will play in those two countries this year. This will definitely be a completely unmissable event, as their performance at the Olympics Closing Ceremony Concert will attest to. The rest of the extensive lineup is sure to be just as thrilling - be sure to keep an eye on the Primavera Sound Youtube channel on January 23 for the much anticipated unveiling of the lineup: Previous editions have featured the likes of Patti Smith, Smashing Pumpkins, Neil Young, The Cure, The Pixies and PJ Harvey alongside Antony and the Johnsons, Arcade Fire, Rufus Wainwright, M83, White Stripes and more; the 2013 events will undoubtedly prove to be as brilliant, if not even moreso.
